Adult therapy
Space to understand what you’re carrying.
Warm, practical therapy for adults who want support making sense of difficult emotions, experiences, relationships, or transitions.
Therapy shaped around you
You do not need to arrive with the perfect explanation of what is wrong. Heather begins by listening to what has been happening, what matters to you, and what you hope could feel different. Together, you identify goals and develop a treatment plan tailored to your circumstances.
Areas Heather can help you explore
- Anxiety, worry, stress, and burnout
- Depression and low self-esteem
- Grief and loss
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anger and emotional regulation
- Family or relationship conflict
- Identity and life transitions
- Parenting and caregiver stress
- Coping skills and recurring patterns
What the first session is like
Your first session includes a warm introduction and a biopsychosocial assessment—a conversation about your experiences, current concerns, strengths, and support system. You and Heather will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, clarify your goals, and begin a collaborative treatment plan.
Practical and collaborative
Heather may combine conversation, psychoeducation, reflection, and skill-building based on your needs. Therapy is something done with you, not to you, and the direction can change as your needs and goals become clearer.
